HatterXReader(SyFy Alice):Part 11
As it turns out the hole that you and Hatter had fallen into wasn't a hole at all, but rather a very carefully constructed trap that the old man dressed in head to toe armor had set up to try and kill the Jabberwock. It took some time, but eventually you and Hatter were able to climb out of the deep pit with some reluctant help from the old man. All the while he hurled strange old world insults and curses at you both. After just surviving an attack from the horrifying Jabberwock you weren't even able to be afraid of this clanking, muttering, old man. Once Hatter had climbed out of the hole he came to stand by your side. The old man continued

"Where is the Casino?" you pestered Hatter as you both jettied along in the stolen speed boat across the expansive fresh water lake. You had seemingly lost the suits a while back now and it was time you got back to the task at hand which was finding Alice. "I've already told you, you can't negotiate with The Queen, but the White Rabbit is a different can of onions. Perhaps he'll do a deal. It's a long shot, but it's the only one we've got." You turned surprised towards Hatter. The cool wind was busy whipping your faces and his rakishly handsome one was devoid of any mischieviousness or deception. "We?" you asked. Hatter kept his gaze focused

You rode the elevator bus upwards for a time while Hatter regathered himself. As soon as he could breathe normally again he stood up with his usual fluid gracefulness and made his way past you to the driver's seat. He pulled on some levers which brought the bus downwards and you had a panicked moment thinking that he meant to go back to the library, but before you could question him about it the bus came to an abrupt stop. The jerk of the clunky machine made you stagger, but thankfully you were able to keep a tight grip on the steel pole so you didn't fall. As soon as the doors to the bus hissed open you stormed out of them. You walked down a

The frightening man clad in black was running down the long hallway of the library towards you. You tried every button and knob you could think of but nothing you were doing was making the bus budge. You looked back towards the hallway with dread to watch as Dodo was about halfway to you now. You watched him approach helplessly trapped like a rat when suddenly a lightning quick smaller figure came dashing up from behind him and tackled Dodo to the ground. It was Hatter! He was alive! Hatter pinned the now flailing Dodo to the ground. He looked up and your eyes met as he called out to you, "Hit the blue button!" After some frantic searching yo

You strode purposefully into the large room at the end of the hall. Your eyes took in the rectangular shaped room with it's powder blue painted walls and pristine paneled white trim. This place seemed to have been preserved from the excessive decay that seemed to stain most of Wonderland. Here there was a long expensive looking Persian rug under your feet and brightly lit lamps symmetrically attached to the walls. A healthy looking tree was growing in the back of the right side of the room, however this one was obviously well groomed and purposely placed there unlike the random greenery that had sprouted roots in the more run down and abandon

You stared warily at the knavish attractive man with the straw top hat who stared openly back at you from his seat. His slightly stubbled face was impassive and he stayed relaxed in his chair as he said, “I run the Tea Shoppe”. You took in his sienna colored tight fitting leather jacket with it’s large folded over lapels across the chest and neck. It was at total odds with his maroon dress shirt he wore underneath with paisley printed hues of orange and gold. He also had a matching maroon tie loosely and crookedly draped around his neck. He wore matching dark maroon pinstriped tailored dress pants with short leather ankle bo

You found yourself walking through a bricked in dark corridor. This one thankfully was well kept and didn’t have any flooded water on the floors or overgrown greenery sprouting from the walls. A throng of raised voices echoed down the passageway and the sounds of other human life was like music to your ears. You had heard enough silence in the past twenty four hours to fill a lifetime. Though it had looked like it on the outside you were happy to find that this wasn’t a ghost town after all. You followed the sound of shouting voices until you came to an open room full of crowds of business attired people all in various states of p

Your body jerked as your clammy hand slipped from the bottom of the wooden crate box that held you suspended miles above what looked to be an expanse of a fresh water lake. You were now falling suddenly, screaming with terror as you watched the surface of the water loom towards you at light speed. You hit the surface of the lake with a ringing gunshot sound. Your body was instantly plunged into freezing cold water that seemed to seep straight through your skin, making your bones ache with the chill. You kicked and thrashed about wildly as you tried to push yourself up towards the surface. You hadn’t had enough time to suck in a deep bre
